Just out of curiosity.....

when congress considers cutting the budget on programs that benefit middle- class and impoverished voters, dependent children, senior citizens, people wanting to keep their homes or having medical problems that need assistance in order to stay alive, necessary repairs and improvements to the infrastructure of our country and even making the military wonder if they're going to get paid next payday, then having congress refuse to raise taxes for the richest and most powerful (who also pay millions to campaign committees to get their candidates elected),

IS CONGRESS CUTTING ANY SPENDING ON ITS OWN SALARIES AND BENEFITS?

If they're asking us to make sacrifices, which ones are they willing to make personally themselves?
